Q: How does this work?
A: Shop for the subscription frequency, flavour profile and grind setting that you want delivered, and upon checkout your card information is stored in a highly secure virtual vault using ReCharge Payments recurring billing technologies through Shopify.  Your data is never stored with Department of Coffee, it is stored and protected by ReCharge Payments.

Q: Can I make changes to my account?

You can personally update your billing information, subscription frequency or coffee profile at any time using the account login you create upon registration.

Q: Can I use a Credit Card?
A: Yes, we have chosen Shopify for our Subscriptions service and can accept all major credit cards.

Q: How often will I be charged?
A: Weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on your selection.

Q: Can I change my frequency without signing up again?
A: Yes, contact us at the email below and we will change the frequency for you.

Q: Can I pause or change my subscription?
A: Yes, using the account login that you create upon sign up you can view and skip upcoming deliveries without being charged.

Q: Can I cancel my subscription?
A: Yes, using the account login that you create upon registration.

Q: Can I order multiple subscriptions?
A: Yes, simply add more than one subscription to your cart before checkout.

Q: Can I give a subscription as a gift?
A: Yes, there is an option in the form to provide a separate shipping name & address.

Q: Is tax and shipping included?
A: Yes, tax and shipping is included.

Q: Do you only serve the UK?
A: Yes, for the time being.

Q: How many coffees does 250g make?
A: Around 10-15 cups of filter coffee, or 10 double espressos.

Q: When is the coffee roasted?
A: Roasted to order.

Q: When will I receive my coffee?
A: Your first coffee will arrive on first Friday after the recurring payment has been set up and first payment taken.  All subsequent deliveries are dispatched on Wednesdays and should be with you by Friday of the given week. The 250g orders are designed to fit through most standard sized letter boxes.
